Abstract :
An additional varactor diode is installed at the end of the tuning line in a dielectric resonator circuit to electronically adjust the effective length of the tuning line for optimization of the tuning range provided by the primary varactor at the opposite end. A testing circuit for 8 GHz design was fabricated and a measured tuning range of 89 MHz was recorded
