Abstract :
“Membership in the AIEE has meant much to me and can be summarized in three categories. First: I have kept up on progress not only in my field of specialization, but also in the other fields. The tremendous breadth of Institute interests and activities is of inestimable professional value. Second: Since the conduct of our technical program demands all sorts of operational and administrative activities, Institute membership has offered exceptional opportunities for personal development in these areas. Last: I value the personal contacts-many have deepened into close friendships. Associating with colleagues just starting, well along, and rounding out their professional careers is a stimulating, satisfying part of AIEE membership.”
