Abstract :
We present a new formulation for the problem of a flange-mounted array of closely spaced elliptical radiators. The overall computational complexity is reduced by using analytical solutions for the coupling integrals valid also for apertures with different eccentricity and liberally placed on the flange plane. The above approach permits a significant decrease of the computational effort, hence enabling fast analysis, also on a standard PC. Results have been tested against published data and have also been compared with data obtained for circular and rectangular arrays. In all cases, an almost perfect agreement has been observed
