Abstract
A full vector three-dimensional holographic technique is proposed for near-field imaging of dielectric bodies. This new formulation allows for the processing of two (co- and cross-polarized) scattered field components in a single reconstruction process. We demonstrate that employing both co- and cross-polarized signals leads to significant improvement of the target shape reconstruction. The simulated examples for X-shaped and square-shaped targets in a lossy background medium are presented.
