  • Abstract
We have studied the guiding discharge path in a weakly ionized region between plasmas produced by a visible laser, that is, a YAG laser with wavelength λ=532 nm, in an air gap with DC nonuniform electric field using a rod-to-plate electrode. We succeeded in capturing the framing images in the temporal evolution on guiding discharge along the YAG laser light path. From the results of experiments, the region between two plasmas produced by a YAG laser can guide a discharge path, and the region between two plasmas on the laser light path is considered, as well as a weakly ionized one produced by an excimer laser
