Abstract
This paper deals with comparison of various implementations of Digital Filters. Two band-pass filters are designed by bilinear transform and verified by MicroCap. A finite number of digits is discussed, too. Frequency responses of various implementations (fixed-point arithmetic, lookup table, floating-point and fractional arithmetic) of these filters are measured and plotted. Finally, requirements and final parameters of various implementations are compared. For implementation of filters were used microcontrollers ATmega or PIC32MX.
