Wheeler, who has been announced as the recipient of the Hoover Medal for 1958, will be the guest of honor at a special dinner meeting of The Society of American Military Engineers (S.A.M.E.) on February 19, 1959, when the presentation of the award will be made. He is a past president of S.A.M.E.
