  • Abstract
    A simulation model of the CSMA/CA protocol is presented. The model uses the simulation language SLAM II. The two cases of nonpersistent and slotted nonpersistent CSMA/CA protocols are considered. The results obtained show a good performance with regard to the throughput against offered-load characteristics of the protocol
