Abstract :
The need for cost-effective electrical insulation with greater physical strength but retaining the principal advantages of inorganic materials is discussed. A nonwoven hybrid inorganic paper product line that meets these requirements is presented. It utilizes a unique blend of inorganic and organic raw materials and involves the use of advanced concepts of material manufacturing. Shrinkage characteristics and electrical properties at elevated temperatures are discussed.<>
