Our Communications Society (Com-Soc)´s over 50,000 members depend upon the President and Board of Governors (BoG) to set policy and provide leadership that reflects their interests and aims at achieving the over-arching IEEE mission to serve humanity. From ComSoc??s governing documents: These Policies and Procedures are intended to guide orderly, fair, open and consistent conduct of the nominations and elections of officers of the IEEE Communications Society. To assure continued adherence, we regularly evaluate our governance rules, long-term objectives and near-term processes for selecting our President, five Vice Presidents, IEEE Division III Director, and twelve Members-at-Large.
