Abstract :
Many of the 14 papers in this special section were originally presented at the Fifth International Workshop on Multi-temporal Imagery Analysis (MultiTemp 2009), hosted by the University of Connecticut on July 28-30, 2009. The papers address current advancements for the monitoring of anthropogenic activities and natural processes using state-of-the-art satellite sensor technologies and automated data processing methods.
