  • Abstract
    This paper presents a low-frequency analysis of current carrying elliptic conductors using the point matching method (PMM) in the elliptic coordinate system. The solution is expressed in terms of Mathieu functions. This method yields results which are in close agreement with those available in literature. Furthermore, this method overcomes the difficulties encountered in case of high ellipticity when the circular coordinate system is used
