Abstract :
About a year ago, it became apparent that the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Web site needed some updating. A review of Web sites from other IEEE Societies showed that IAS needed to work on the presentation of information about member services. Many of our member services were hard to find and in some cases were missing altogether. Since then, we have worked to improve the Web site. Information about the governing structure has been deemphasized in the headings and high-level menus. At the same time, much of the underlying information about member services has been updated.
