Abstract :
The authors propose a novel optical modulation system for generating high-order harmonics, by using two filters placed at the optical input and output ports of an optical modulator. By reciprocating optical modulation at 30 GHz, the sixth-order harmonic, whose frequency is shifted by 180 GHz, is generated effectively.
