Abstract
Log-domain circuits utilise the exponential current-voltage relationship of the bipolar transistor to convert signals to and from logarithmic form, where they are processed. In some cases, however, the inherent nonlinearity of these circuits can result in unwanted nonlinear oscillations. Here, these oscillations in one log-domain circuit are examined and explained
