Abstract
The time-domain vector-potential (TDVP) technique is presented in this paper together with its new applications to the analysis of antenna radiation problems. The time-domain governing equations of the magnetic vector potential and the respective boundary conditions arising in the analysis of multilayer structures are derived and their numerical implementation is briefly explained. The numerical features, efficiency and applicability of the method are discussed and compared with other commonly used time-domain algorithms
