Abstract
Wavelength conversion with a 12 dB parametric gain is demonstrated using a picosecond pulse-to-pulse interaction in a periodically poled Zn:LiNbO3 waveguide. The reduced photorefractive damage enabled intense pumping at a relatively low temperature (~50°C)
