Abstract :
The paper presents details of coupling circuit equations and motion with two dimensional transient magnetic analysis. Finite elements with overlapping shape functions are used to model the interface between moving and stationary parts of the mesh. The mechanical equation of movement is solved independently to estimate velocity of the rotating component
