Abstract :
An analytical coupled-line based model is proposed for arbitrary double split ring resonator configurations. The model is verified by designing a slow-wave based Butterworth lowpass filter. The filter has been fabricated and measured. The measurements are in a good agreement with theoretical results over a wide frequency range.
