Abstract :
In the 1970s the fight against acid corrosion in power station flues led to the development of a fluoroelastomer coating, known as CXL 2000. This coating is lightweight, elastic, durable, heatproof and easy to apply. The author looks at the use of CXL 2000 at the Drax power station desulphurisation units
