Abstract :
A linear programming formulation is employed to solve the power system state estimation problem using an interior point method based on the affine-scaling dual algorithm. This algorithm was selected due to its simplicity and easy direction search toward the optimal. The algorithm was applied successfully to several power systems considering simultaneous measurements containing gross errors. Results show good performance
