  • Abstract
    Tracking down TRONs. It looked like a simple task at first: root out the origins of the name of Japan´s computer architecture program. Dubbed TRON, the project is a joint industry and university effort to create an open-system computer architecture-from chips to software-that, with luck and foresight, will improve the compatibility of products from different vendors.
