Abstract :
Polarization modulation is proposed as an advantageous technique for optical-microwave applications in phased array antennas. This technique provides an inherent simplicity in producing continuously variable phase shifts in the RF signal. Experimental investigations with the polarization self-modulated laser demonstrated potential for performing this task.<>
