Abstract
A novel time varying optimal control for multivariable systems is proposed. In order to achieve a multivariable control based on state feedback, a state space model is proposed by using a multivariable identification algorithm. An optimal selection of the feedback gain is computed at each sample based on the estimated state space model by using a linear quadratic regulator. As a result, an adaptive optimal control for multivariable systems is obtained. Proposed methodology is applied over a wind generator based on a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG).
