  • Abstract
    At the time of writing this column, I have just returned from the IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology (ICIT) 2010 held in Valparaiso-Viña del Mar, Chile. It is unfortunate that just a couple of weeks before the conference, a terrible earthquake struck, which caused the loss of more than 600 lives. The news coming from Chile was very sad, as I have a large number of friends not only in Valparaiso but also in Concepcion, the most devastated area.
