Abstract :
In order to simplify modulator and demodulator structures, the composition of binary continuous phase modulations (CPMs) by the linear superposition of impulses as developed by Laurent (1986) is advantageous. Based on differential encoding of the binary data sequence, a novel CPM modulator concept for modulation index 1/2 is presented
