Abstract
A Fourier-synthesised optical-pulse train with a repetition rate of 257 GHz has been obtained by optically phaselocking three continuous-wave (CW) semiconductor lasers using a semiconductor optical amplifier as a four-wave mixer. Second-harmonic-generation (SHG) correlation traces were obtained to examine the temporal waveforms of the pulse train
