With this type of paradigm must implement knowledge discovery process (KDP), for the purpose of enhance the data have been released and to facilitate their understanding by stakeholders, but this is not being taken into consideration in the Colombian model. Therefore, this article aims to explain the different elements that involve the use of KDP in national governance model, and the approach that should be given to this when working on public sector data.
