In this paper, the results of an experience with a course of Formal Logic Programming of the Systems Engineering and Computer Science Program of the University of Quindío are presented. A tool was used to do a competence test with the goal of getting to know the students´ appreciations regarding the tool´s friendly usability. The results showed that students rated the course favorably in terms of the usability of the tool.
