Abstract
Effective teaching in engineering necessitates establishment of an intelligent balance between real and virtual experimentation, and between essentials (theory) and computer applications. Can we use FPGAs for these purposes? The next tutorial is planned to be on the FPGA implementation of digital modulators that may be used in many undergraduate lectures and labs.
