Abstract :
A new system for the measurement of the voltage dependence of range resistors for high voltage Ac-DC thermal converters has been assembled. This system, which employs suitable high voltage capacitors as references, allows us to measure the variation of the impedance relative to the DC resistance. Preliminary results of the comparisons show that a satisfactory level of reproducibility can be achieved. This method may reduce the uncertainty of the voltage step-up procedure for specific frequencies
