Abstract :
The cover displays results of adaptive shadow detection for multispectral (IKONOS) and RGB (DLR 3K Camera System) data. A blackbody radiator model allows to calculate physical parameters of the Sun illumination for a particular scene, leading to detection of all types of shadows irrespectively to image acquisition parameters.
