Abstract
Frequency-dependent impedance bridges require excitation signals of precise frequency, low harmonic content, and high SNR in the passband of the detector. A two-frequency synthesizer with high signal-to-noise ratio and negligible harmonic distortion has been developed for this purpose. In generating the stored waveform, quantization noise near the signal is depressed at the expense of other parts of the spectrum where analog filtering is more effective
