Abstract
The base station cooperation with the multiple-input multiple-output (BSC-MIMO) is a powerful technique for recovering the bottleneck of cell boundary´s user. However, in BSC-MIMO, the harmful co-channel interference (CCI) from the non-cooperative BS is not avoidable. We have clarified that the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of transmitted signal is reduced, so boosting the transmitted signal power causes the large throughput performance. However, in multi-cell environment, the CCI from the other cell is also enlarged by it. Therefore, the PAPR should be controlled for maximizing throughput. This paper evaluates the throughput of BSC-MIMO with the PAPR reduction based on the adaptive RB assignment.
