Following a father´s footsteps

The story of the Popovic¿ sisters begins with Branko Popovic¿, an engineer in Serbia born in the 1930s. Branko\´s father was a lawyer, as was his mother-one of the first women to graduate from law school in Belgrade. He was curious and he studied hard, believing that tedious work led to knowledge that enriched life and made it more fun. "This is the best investment you can think of," he\´d say. "Stock markets can fall through, real estate can burn or be taken away from you, jewelry can be lost or stolen. But who can take away from you the knowledge stored in your head?"
