Abstract :
A wireless continuous transmission and reception of signals from 1GHz up to 6GHz is shown. Core functionality of a universal multiband multistandard wideband reconfigurable transceiver is demonstrated. Extension of the frequency range by means of a mixing stage is combined with a wideband signal processor from the baseband up to the RF and vice versa. This concept exploiting the proposed platform is promising to cover more than 7GHz for Tx and 6GHz for Rx.
