Abstract :
Digital multitrack audio recording systems often employ nonstandard file formats, which complicates the migration of audio projects between different systems. A compact and portable multitrack audio format is proposed that can be implemented efficiently using existing hardware designs. Virtual tracks are combined and stored using Reed Solomon encoding
