Abstract
Rough surface scattering have been studied for many years and the relationship between the rough surface characteristic and the scattered waves have been extensively studied. However, since rough surface scattering affect the qualities of the images of targets located near surfaces, there have been increased interest in the effects of rough surface scattering on the imaging of targets near surface. Some time ago, Feng and others discovered that, even under multiple scattering, there can be strong correlations in the scattered wave under certain conditions.
