Abstract :
In adaptive Volterra signal modelling, the recursive implementations of the method of least squares commonly employ a weighting factor which has constraints. Here, the least squares estimation is reformulated as a constrained optimisation problem and solved using the Lagrange programming neural networks. The weighting factor is adapted and found to be optimal
