            Abstract : 
A tri-frequency microstrip patch antenna with two pairs of arc slots is presented. For its single-feed and single-layer structure, the proposed antenna has a simple design process. In addition, the design can excite three operating bands by the two pairs of arc slots and the eight stub slots embedded on a square patch. The three operating bands are centred at 0.83, 1.8 and 2.46 GHz. Details of the proposed antenna and measured results are presented.
