            Abstract :
In this article we briefly introduce the theory and development of DNA-based computing, present the underlying problems associated with DNA-based computing technology, and discuss the trend of nanoelectronics as well as several computational paradigms for selected existing classical solutions with quantum-effect devices. The pros and cons of both the DNA-based computing and the quantum computing are discussed and compared from the error resistant viewpoint and at the system architecture level
