Author_Institution :
SRI Int., USA
Abstract :
The author uses models of visual perception to remove nonperceptible components of a 3D computer graphics scene and optimize the system´s performance. He considers how much detail can be removed from the scene without the user noticing, and how much added benefit these optimizations actually bring
