Abstract
The plasma synthetic jet, which produces a synthetic jet with high exhaust velocities, is very attractive for aerodynamic purposes. The aim of this paper is to illustrate how the size of the discharge (evaluate using short-exposure-time pictures of the discharge) influences the jet velocity (determined through the use of Schlieren images).
