            Abstract : 
A versatile and compact solid state THz radar system operating in the continuous wave mode is described. A frequency-modulated electronic THz source is used for target illumination. On the receiver side a THz sensor array is employed to increase imaging performance. The system´s performance is evaluated and application examples are shown.
