Abstract
The main factors affecting choice of frequency for v.h.f. point-to-point radio links are: rate of diffraction attenuation beyond the horizon, acceptable amount of fading, directional gain of aerials, effective height of receiving aerials; and freedom from mutual interference with other channels which are on the same frequency, but geographically remote.
