Abstract :
In this work, a global motion estimation method which operates on the binary images is implemented on a ARM based real time embedded platform for motion estimation stage which is the most computational part of a digital video stabilization system. Experiments show that after pixel decimation and optimize computation only on search area required frame rate per second is successfully achieved even on the low cost ARM Cortex-A8 based embedded platform.
