Abstract :
A cylindrically textured YBCO film was grown on a cylindrical surface of single crystalline YSZ. The substrate shape was a 60/spl deg/ sector of a cylinder. The substrate surface was pretreated by oxygen ion milling followed by deposition of 15 /spl Aring/ thick CeO/sub 2/ buffer layer. It was confirmed by XRD 2 /spl theta/ and /spl phi/-scan that the c-axes were normal to the surfaces and the a and b-axes were aligned in all regions. T/sub c/ was about 85 K.
