Abstract :
Video images of a low-pressure dc glow discharge with an electrolytic cathode in the form of aqueous solution of sodium bicarbonate NaHCO3 are presented in this paper. Various forms of the discharge are observed. One of the discharge forms-a dc glow discharge with a foam cathode-was recorded for the first time. A space-time diagram of the discharge is drawn.
