AS THE UK lights up its 200th megawatt of solar power, China and India have revealed breathtaking solar ambitions that cast a shadow on the rest of the world. Come 2020, China intends to add 1.6GW of solar capacity while India plans to install a massive 12GW as well as 20 million solar lanterns by 2022.
