Abstract :
This work focuses on the wave scattering from a arbitrary shaped 2D dielectric cylinder in case of the TE polarization. An algorithm based on the method of moments (MoM) is developed in Matlab to solve the EM scattering from the dielectric cylinder. Analytical solutions are also derived to compare the results of the numerical solutions. It is shown that the numerical results match with the analytical results when discretization is increased enough.
